The meteorite of the Earth age falls ... the roof

The results show that the rock is one of the most valuable meteorites in the world because it is 4.5 billion years old.

While Japanese scientists are trying to rise - one of the oldest solar systems to study and bring back a few samples, a resident of Komaki (250 km from Tokyo - Japan) Pick up a similar age-related meteorite Ryugu right on top of . the roof of my house.

The incident was reported by Japan's NHK. The landlord, an unnamed person, went out to find strange objects that had just crashed on his roof at 22:30 on September 26 and damaged part of the roof. This man found a broken rock in 3 pieces about 10cm, 5cm and 4cm across falling in the garden.

Suspicious of the origin of the rock, the landlord took it to the National Science Museum of Japan. Here, the experts preliminarily assess and be surprised to learn that this is a meteorite up to 4.5 billion years old . It can be said that it is an "ancient as Earth" object because our earth is estimated to be 4.5-4.55 billion years old, while the solar system's lifetime is about 4.6 billion years.

Currently the Japan National Museum of Science is carrying out registration procedures for "Komaki meteorite" with the International Meteorite Organization. As one of the oldest human objects discovered, Komaki meteorite will continue to be studied and promises to bring interesting information. Scientists have not yet determined whether it belongs to our Solar System.

Recently, Japan has just approached a meteorite of the same age as Ryugu and dropped on it 2 "dancing robots" produced by Japan and a French-German exploration machine. Scientists hope that ancient celestial bodies can hold important evidence for us to explain our own roots.
