The most exotic houses in the world
Most of the buildings on the street are so similar that not even twins are the same father and mother. Why should the corner always be square? Why should literary buildings be 'serious' like matchboxes?Architecture is an art, not a simple mechanical work. If the romantic, creative design will form unique buildings.
Here are the most unique houses in the world.
1. Basket shaped house (USA, Newark)
The idea of building a working building, at first glance like a huge market basket, belongs to Lavy Longaberger, the founder of the company that specializes in the production of baskets and household goods. Construction was completed in 1997 and the building became the headquarters of Longaberger.
The height of the building is only about 24 meters. 'Straps basket' weighs 75 tons. Inside the 'basket strap', there are heating devices, which prevent snow ice from collapsing and do not pour into the glass floor, an area of 418 square meters. The architect tried to make the windows the maximum size: the width of the windows was 4.87m, 1.83m high. Inside the building is the glass of blue and green decorations. The light is used to illuminate Longaberger's artistic porcelain highlights.
2. Dancing house (Praha, Czech)
This office building is located in the center of Prague, near the InterContinental hotel. Two people working together to design are architect Tiep Vlado Milunish and Canadian architect Frank Harry. Started in 1992, completed in 1996.
It is different from the neighboring houses and is characteristic of Prague, not according to the New Turkic school (Neobarocco), nor the New Gaelic (Neogothics) or the Art Nouveau (Novel Art). Former President Vaclav Havel was very supportive of these unique ideas. Firstly, the house is expected to be named 'Fred and Ginger' to honor American genius dance partners Fred Astaire and Ginger Rodgers.
3. Piano house (Hoai Nam, China)
In recent years, in China, there have been more and more strange architectural projects, not boring the house shaped like a piano and leaning on it is a violin built in 2007. From it became the symbol of Hoai Nam city (Хуайнан). Each staircase in the building is decorated with crystal violins, bringing the audience to visit an Art Gallery arranged in the 'gut' of a giant piano.
4. Kansas State Library (United States)
Not only is the beautiful and unique family library, but also the public library. Kansas State Library (USA) is a building like a great book rack. Those who seek ideas for the project have conducted a public consultation of the people living in the state in their view what works are considered best to include in the design. It is these books, more precisely, their enlarged versions that decorate the facade of the library.
5. Robot house (Bangkok, Thailand)
The building is in the form of a robot located in Bangkok, in the Satorn administration district. Inside the 'robot ' there is the headquarters of Bank of Asia - one of the branches of United Oversea. According to the board's idea, the design of the building must be a symbol of computerization of the banking system. On the basis of that suggestion, the Bank hired the chief project architect, Sumet Djumsai. He chose robots to express this idea.
And why did Djumsai think of the robot himself? It was not when he was thinking of finding an image for the design when he saw his son playing a robot toy.
6. Green house (Rotterdam, Netherlands)
This old house for a long time was just an uninhabited wild house, and it was unknown who the owner was, located on Delfshaven old town in ruined state. Local authorities want to relieve this scandalous sight. To separate the blocks that need to be taken away, someone suggested painting it into blue. It turned out that the uniqueness of the house attracted visitors and soon the house became one of the most photographed subjects in Rotterdam. So it doesn't have to go anywhere but proudly stays in its former position.
7. Curved house (Sopot, Poland)
To build a 'crumbling' building , wriggling, Dahlberg architects sought inspiration from painter Jan Martin Szanser's illustration of fairy tales. But the function of the house is very realistic, nothing is legendary. It is part of Rezydent Shopping Center. The area used by this strangest merchant in Poland is up to 4,000 m 2 .
8. The house is upside down (Schimbark, Poland)
The upside-down house was built according to Daniel Shapeski's design. The idea of the architect is that in Poland there was a time when people did everything against the law of society, like their heads at the feet. At first, it is expected only 3 weeks to complete, I doubt it will take 114 days. People who visit this wonder often experience headaches and nausea. Many people feel that not only is the house overturned but also that each position is on the head. Not being able to live in such a house, but curious tourists want to stop by.
