Sargasso algae, also known as horsetail algae, are seaweed. Usually algae have roots, grow in stone mill at the bottom of the sea. But the Atlantic hippocampus is different, without roots, the whole body is like a soft sponge, floating in the sea. In the East of the Bermuda Triangle, located at 20-40 degrees north latitude, 35-75 degrees west, there is an elliptical sea area about 4.5 million square kilometers, filled with horse-tail algae. So it is called the Sea of Ponytail - Sargasso.

From time to time, there were many boats venturing into the Sargasso Sea, unable to walk by the Sargasso algae, and the sailors ran out of food and fresh water died. Therefore, the Sargasso Sea is called the "sea cemetery" and "demon sea" .

Sargasso Sea has special climatic conditions, there is no wind and weak sea all year round. The sea water is stable, still, even the water layers hardly mix. Thus food in the water layer is not renewed, phytoplankton are less than other seas to 2/3. Therefore, marine animals and large fish are almost absent, shrimp, fish, shellfish, mussels, . also have strange colors and shapes. In contrast, Sargasso algae develop extremely strongly, making this sea into a vast steppe on the sea.

The strange thing is that the Sargasso algae here is hidden at present . There are many survey teams coming here to find the silhouette of sargasso algae. After a while, I suddenly found it everywhere. Why does an entire sea of large, no wind, no convection between the water layers, suddenly disappear from Sargasso algae, suddenly appear? Until now scientists have not explained this question.
