Poisonous algae attack the US coast
The US state coast of Florida is attacked by a toxic blue algae tide, causing a lot of troubles for people, threatening aquatic species in the area.
The US weather channel said that the toxic green algae crowd covered 2,100 km 2 of water. They began to hit the coast of Florida, USA.
Experts warn that the algae secrete an odorless chemical that could harm humans or destroy marine species in the area.
Florida's Wildlife and Fish Species Committee said they recorded many cases of mass die-off marine life in the covered green algae.
However, the flow of the oceans makes the number of algae ashore continue to increase in the coming days.
In July, Florida officials discovered algae in the waters west of Lake Eerie.
A few weeks later, they polluted drinking water sources in Teledo, Ohio.
The US Ocean and Atmospheric Administration said algae bloom in late summer and early autumn.
