The Nepalese boy received the title of the world's shortest young man with a height of 73.43cm
The certificate of registration of Khapangi as "the shortest living young man", was established on March 23.
Dor Bahadur Khapangi is presented with a certificate at a ceremony held by Guinness World Records on May 25 in Kathmandu.
Born on November 14, 2004 in Sindhuli, Nepal, Khapangi suffered from a rare disease that caused him to soon stop growing in height.
To get to Kathmandu to receive the title, Khapangi had to ask relatives to take him and carry him to the place.
The young man was photographed and interviewed by a series of photographers and media present at the ceremony.
Khapangi was the youngest child in a farming family and attended the village school. Khapangi's brother hopes that being recognized by the Guinness World Records will help his brother's studies.
Nara Bhadur Khapangi, Dor Bahadur Khapangi's brother, said: "My brother was completely normal when he was born. But from the age of 7 he did not grow anymore. His peers all grew taller and Dor Baharur did not grow. so".
This record was previously held by Khagendra Thapa Magar, also from Nepal. Khagendra was born in October 1992 and is only 65.58 cm tall. However, he passed away at the age of 27 in 2020.
