The nightmare of the brown king snake
Unlike other venomous snakes, which tend to bite people when they are angry, the brown king snake in Australia has a habit of attacking victims while they are sleeping.

In a new study conducted with 27 cases of brown king snakes, the researchers found seven victims were poisoned while sleeping, from midnight to 5 am.
These are unusual cases, since most snake bites occur when the victim intentionally comes in contact with this cold blood reptile, such as playing with snakes or feeding them.
However, cases in Australia show another fact, it seems that the brown king snakes have a habit of biting people when they are sleeping, according to a report on Toxicon.
Brown king snakes are the largest terrestrial poisonous snakes in Australia, and most snake bites occur from December to March, when the weather is warmer.
It is still unclear why the brown king snake bites people when he sleeps, but his body temperature may attract them.
