This 60-year-old man, who graduated from Hue College of Fine Arts, is passionate about inventing machines with high applicability. He used to make cassava cutting machine (cassava) and corn seed (corn).

Mr. Linh's idea of ​​making a glass washing machine comes from the complaints of his friends doing coffee business on cup washing during crowded rush hours. Glass washing is a simple but time-consuming task. Mr. Linh found out and realized that the glass washing machine from Italy and Germany imported to Vietnam up to several tens of millions of dong. The cheapest machine imported from Germany costs 33 million VND but is limited as if washing only a few glasses of the specified size.

Self-learning on newspapers and the Internet, in 2012 Mr. Linh built the glass washing machine with the first version still quite rudimentary, wire washed with wire even though its life is not long, the form has not been eye-catching yet. Encouraged by friends to improve because the machine is very useful when there is a large amount of glasses to wash, he starts to improve both the form and the quality of the machine."Over the past year I have improved many times the new machine with the shape and quality as it is today," Linh said.

The device is compact, 70cm tall, with 40cm wide body and 40cm long body, there is a connecting tube to let the water flow out of the waste water . To wash 100 cups, the system takes about 7 liters of water, consumption capacity 1.5 kWh electricity. The advantage is that the machine can wash glasses of all sizes, from high-quality smoothies, cups with straps, to small ones like wineglasses. The drawback is that the machine does not have an on-site drying device like foreign ones and has to wash each glass instead of putting it in a 65-mm tray like an imported machine. In return, the glass washing capacity is nearly 3 times faster, reaching about 1,000 units in an hour, washing each glass instead of waiting for 65 units, so the electricity consumption is reduced.

The machine consists of 3 simple parts: Body, washing, sinks. The user puts the glass into the machine, the centrifugal system hits from the glass cup to the bottom of the glass and in the opposite direction, friction is two turns, no need to use soap but the glass remains shiny.

How to use the machine is said to be user friendly, just hold the bottom of the cup with the palm and put it in the machine. When the machine is powered, the crank will spin, the leaves with rubber material on the crank friction on the cup to clean the stains. At the same time, automatic sprinkler system under high pressure pushes dirty water out and directly injects clean water.

In July, Mr. Linh produced 8 units on order, usually making one unit within 2-3 days.

Using this cup washing machine for his cafe, Mr. Vo Vinh Nguyen said: 'The machine helps work faster, helps to use soap and is compact, does not occupy much area of ​​the restaurant's kitchen' . And Ms. Nguyen Tuyet Mai, who washes the glass directly at this restaurant, said: 'I used to wash a few hundred glasses with my hands, when I used the machine, I had a free time, reduced 50% of the work'.

Mr. Linh expressed: ' I just love inventing but business problems, product development is not clear. I am willing to transfer patent ownership to businesses who want to develop products and mass production '.
