While most users and manufacturers switch to the virtual keyboard on the touch screen, the BlackBerry, the name in the cell phone array, is always associated with the physical keyboard.
This week, the Canadian company announced a shocking loss in the second quarter of this year, a loss of nearly $ 1 billion, and the market share also declined significantly.
BlackBerry is slated to slash 40% of its employees, while other sources say the company is increasingly away from the smartphone business, according to The New York Times.
Consequently, many fear that the BlackBerry may end production of physical keyboard phones.
"I'm anxious to change my way of doing things ," said Jonathan Lindsey, a PR consultant in Phoenix, who is loyal to the compact keyboard.
Lindsey says he's working better on the physical keyboard than the touch-sensitive keyboard.
