Aliens are real and have contacted people on earth. This is confirmed by Edgar Mitchell, a former NASA astronaut and the sixth man to set foot on the moon.

Mitchell, 77, who set foot on the moon on the 1971 Apollo 14 ship, made these shocking claims in an interview on Kerrang radio! famous in the UK.

According to Mitchell, aliens are real but have been hidden by US governments for more than 60 years. Mitchell said he was exposing a conspiracy to keep aliens as a secret.

The former NASA astronaut said he had learned about many UFO visits to the earth during his years at NASA but that all cases were covered.

The 77-year-old said NASA contacted aliens, describing them as "small people looking at us strangely".

Described by Mr. Mitchell, aliens have small bodies, eyes and big heads.

Mr. Mitchell said that aliens have the appearance of what film producers imagine: small bodies, eyes and big heads.

'There is no doubt that life exists throughout the universe. We are not alone. I can confirm that. '

Mr. Mitchell, along with Alan 14 Shepard, Apollo 14 commander, currently holds the record for the longest walk on the moon with 9 hours and 17 minutes in 1971.

In the interview, he said: 'Aliens have visited the earth and the UFO phenomenon is real . That has been hidden by all governments for the past 60 years, but gradually it has been leaked'.

NASA announced that they disagreed with Mitchell's comments.
