The six squirrels were tied together, identical to the Mouse King in human history

It seems that the Rat King is just a myth, it turns out it is real.

Last weekend, Nebraska animal management received a strange call. One person living in the Elkhorn area reported that there were six small squirrels being tailed into each other, very dangerous.

Brother Craig Luttman heard a loud noise in the yard, and when he checked, he found a cluster of hairs that had six heads trying to climb up the tree.

"It's like they're playing tug of war," Luttman told the local radio. "They are all trying to crawl in different directions."

Squirrels were taken to the Nebraska Wildlife Recovery Center to recover.

It seems that these 6 squirrels come out of the myth: history has recorded a bit, similar to what happened to the squirrel.

In the Middle Ages, people hated terrible rats because horrible pandemics involved this rodent. Hate to the extent that they cannot stop them from growing. There are times when rats are so swarming that they twist together, called the Rat King and are seen as an omen of death.

Many people consider the Rat King to be a legend, but there are many cases where the Rat King was recorded and there were specimens kept and still present in the museum.

Back with 6 small squirrels. According to Laura Stastny, director of the Resuscitation Center, similar calls take place once every 1-2 years. For squirrels, sap is the cause of tails . However, in some rare cases, there may be strands that find their way into the nest, and while the squirrels play, they will get caught in the rope, tie themselves together.

Before Stastny expert untangled the squirrels, she gave them a small dose of painkillers and covered a towel on all six so they lay dormant in the dark. After about 1 hour, the "ca" split tail took place successfully. 6 squirrels are fine, although some will have to remove a damaged part of the tail.

If Mr. Luttman did not call the Center, then perhaps the fate of six squirrels was different. Normally, they will be starved to death by not being able to go, not to mention that they can return the meal to some carnivorous beast. A fox will get a bargain with a 1 combo buy 6.

Squirrels are recovering quickly, and will be released back to nature within the next few weeks.
