The smallest robot in the world
Japanese toy company Takara Tomy has introduced the world's smallest mobile robot. This robot will be sold widely in Japan next spring.
Robot named Robo-Q, 3.4 cm tall, with two legs. With artificial intelligence it can detect obstructions and locate in the maze through infrared sensors and can work with remote controllers. If using a controller, this robot can play soccer.
Robo-Q is on display at Yokohama in the 2008 Japan Robotics Fair, along with more than 100 different robots from 43 companies, research institutes and universities across Japan. Although small and square shape, Robo-Q left many impressive for viewers with many features.
Robo-Q is available in four colors and will be available in Japan for 3.500 yen. After this time it will be sold in Asian, American and European countries.
