The two robots that explored Mars were active again

NASA has said that two Opportunity and Spirit robots present on Mars have been active again after violent storms that made them immobile.

During the six weeks, storms raging on the red planet had a serious impact on the solar panels of the two robots. Sand dust has reduced energy supply. Then the weather got better and the air began to reduce dust.

Although the atmosphere is still dark, researchers at the JPL Laboratory have decided to re-operate the two robots.

Thanks to increased energy supply, they contact the Earth every day. Since June 14, Opportunity robot has advanced nearly 14m toward the mouth of Victoria. It will descend into this crater to perform scientific research and maximum exposure to the sun's rays.

The Spirit Robot has retreated 42cm from August 23 to photograph a stone slab.
