The US plans to continue the ISS program with Russia after 2020
Program Director of the test flights of the US Aeronautics Agency (NASA) in Russia Sean Fuller said the US intends to continue to cooperate with Russia in the International Space Station (ISS) program after the end. agreement between the two sides in 2020.

In an interview with Russia's Izvestia newspaper on June 16, Mr. Fuller assessed that Russia and the US have built a unique and efficient space laboratory on ISS over the years.

Russian and American medical research groups have worked well and will continue to build future collaborative projects to take further steps in space research and the creation of new technologies. He hoped that negotiations for the use of ISS after 2020 would continue.
Currently the Russian Space Agency (Roskosmos) has also received a proposal from NASA to extend the use of ISS until 2024.
In the context of a disagreement over Ukraine's view of the crisis, which led to the US imposition of Russian sanctions, in April 2014, NASA announced a halt to cooperation with Russia in space, except for projects ISS.
In response, the Russian side said it only plans to use ISS by 2020, then move to another direction in space research.
