Northern Hemisphere astrologers are expected to observe the Draconids meteor shower most clearly, since the constellation Draco is in a high position in the northern sky.The best areas to observe include: North America, Canada, Europe and North Asia.

According to Time and Date, in Vietnam, meteor shower starts from around 19h-24h tonight, at a 45-degree angle to the horizon.

The US Aeronautics Agency (NASA) said the 21P / Giacobini-Zinner comet is the cause of Draconids meteor shower. It has orbit around the Sun for about 6 1/2 years. Meteor shower occurs when the Earth collides with dirt and debris following the comet.

Although comets normally only produce a few meteor tracks per hour, observers in Europe have seen about 600 meteor / hour tracks in 2011, even when the Moon is shining.

According to Earth Sky, we should leave the city lights, go to the countryside to be able to observe the best. If you miss the Draconids meteor shower, another Orionids meteor shower is expected to appear before dawn on October 22.
