This 1-minute movie will change the way you look at the universe

With the help of the Kepler space telescope, scientists at NASA discovered more than 1700 planets outside the solar system. However, for astronomers, it is difficult to imagine in detail the location of these planets when they want to learn about them.

Amazing video of Ethan Kruse.

Fortunately, Ethan Kruse - a student of astronomy at Washington University (USA) - has personally designed a short video describing the utopian picture of all the extrasolar planets that NASA has discovered since the Kepler telescope flew to space in 2009.

With the number of 1705 planets in 685 different planetary systems, this video also shows the most basic parameters from the planetary size described as standard, the size of the planets in the solar system until surface temperature according to the Kelvin scale based on color. Based on that, we can see which planets could potentially contain life if they are about the same size as the Earth and have the same surface temperature.

Similar simulations of Ethan in 2013.

Not stopping there, Ethan also put his own set of code online so anyone can make a similar model for themselves. Previously, in 2013, Ethan himself did a similar video but much simpler.
