4 apocalyptic scenarios of the universe

Scientists have come up with four apocalyptic perspectives of the universe: Hot Death, Big Co, Big Torn, and Big Change.

How the universe will end

The first scenario is based on knowledge of thermodynamics.Hot Death occurs when the temperature difference disappears. According to thermodynamic theory, the difference in temperature changes energy, creates public, makes everything exist.

1. Death Heat (Big Freeze)

Once the universe reaches the point of Hot Death, all things will reach the same temperature . Every star will die, almost every material will decompose and eventually all turn into a mess of planets and radiation. With the expansion of the universe to infinity, energy will flow over time.

After the development of thermodynamics in the early nineteenth century, hot death seemed to be the most viable prospect of the death of the universe. By the beginning of the 20th century, Albert Einstein 's theory of relativity was born, suggesting that the universe might be "dead" in a much more tragic way.

2. Co Lon Department (Big Crunch)

Relativism states that matter and energy bend space and time. The relationship between space-time and matter-energy determines the fate of the universe. With this theory, the universe only relaxes or contracts. And because the universe has been expanding, the question is whether it will continue to expand and at what speed?

The answer depends on the amount of matter that exists in the universe. If the amount of matter does not exceed a critical threshold, the universe will continue to expand and end with the Hot Death.

If matter is more than a critical threshold, gravity will be large enough to pull things together and slow the expansion. However, if there is too much matter, the expansion will be replaced by contraction, the cylinder will shrink, become hotter and denser, eventually die in a self-crushing manner. The perspective opposite of this Big Bang is called The Big Co.

3. Big Rip

The third hypothesis appeared at the end of the 20th century according to an announcement of astrophysics: the universe is expanding the speed due to the existence of a new form of energy, " dark energy".

"Dark energy , " differs from " dark matter," a kind of " anti-gravitational " environment against star attraction and galaxies, making them apart. We do not understand much about this kind of invisible energy, however, according to the scientific world, dark energy accounts for 70% of the energy in the universe and this number is growing each of these.

If "dark energy " grows fast enough, in 20 billion years, it will be strong enough to tear up galactic structures, stars, planets and even atomic structures. According to the Great Revelation theory, 6 billion years before the end of the universe, the galaxy will be torn; 3 months before the end of the world, the solar system will decay and 1 second before the final report, every molecule in the universe will be shredded into basic particles.

In addition, dark energy has a strange characteristic, their density increases with the expansion of the universe. Worryingly, the density of dark energy increases faster than the expansion of the universe.

Robert Caldwell of Dartmouth Academy thinks that they will become ' phantom dark energy' and the Great Tornado will happen much faster than we anticipated. However, the density of dark energy is still very low, much lower than the density of the Milky Way , which is far less dense than the planets.

4. Big Change (Big Change)

The fourth scenario originates from the world within the atom. This is considered the most bizarre and abrupt end to the universe.

To illustrate this scenario, scientists put forward an experiment , pouring a pure water onto an absolutely clean glass and cooling below 0 degrees Celsius. The water will become super cold and still in liquid form though. The temperature is below the natural freezing level. However, if only one stone crystal falls in, the water will freeze quickly, because the stone has lower energy than water.

The same thing can happen to space, the universe will be a glass surface and supercooled water will be a vacuum . Everything will remain that way until a lower energy vacuum 'ball' hits the water. The new vacuum type will alter the old vacuum environment; The " ball" will bulge at the speed of light and we cannot see it happening.

In a new vacuum, everything changes completely, the properties of basic molecules such as electrons and micro-particles, the laws of chemistry change, atoms cannot form. Humans, planets, stars will be destroyed in the Great Change . Dark energy will also behave against normal. Instead of tearing up the universe, they will turn the Big Co perspective into reality.

Fortunately, in the current understanding of scientists today there are no such "balls ". However, quantum physics claims that there can be more energy-less legs. Therefore, a "ball" containing this type of vacuum may be somewhere in the universe.

Survive

With Hot Death, science believes that life will have to change to adapt. But with the existence of dark energy, there is almost no solution.

In the case of Big Change , Alan Guth, a physicist at Massachusetts Institute of Technology, said that we could create a separate universe and get into it. The new pillar will expand and separate from the dead universe without being affected.

" I cannot confirm the feasibility of this project under physical law," Guth said. "Even if it is feasible, creating a new universe will require a too sophisticated technology, beyond our knowledge. It also requires a huge amount of energy."

In the end it certainly doesn't have any reason we have to worry about the end of the universe because of these scenarios, except for the Great Change , which is thousands of billions of years away. At that time, human beings have either disappeared or turned into a life form we cannot recognize.
