This February, the sky will appear 'Mars eclipse'

An event once thought to be mysterious - the crescent moon "ate" part of Mars - will take place on February 18, GMT. Unfortunately, not all regions of the world can see this strange event, but only people living in North America.

Called by some newspapers as symbolically the "Mars eclipse" , this rare phenomenon is actually the Moon's passing by Mars as it sets . On the way, at one point, it overlapped the shape of Mars, causing the red planet to disappear in the night sky. This phenomenon will continue for several days after that.

In some parts of the United States, the time zone even allows people to see a "daytime moon," or dim moon , that "eats" Mars at dawn.

Because the distance between the Moon and the planets is visible to the naked eye from the Earth, sometimes the Moon can block views from the Earth to the planets, causing the aforementioned strange phenomenon. Although much smaller but due to the distance, the Moon easily "swallowed" the object that it obscures.

According to the Date and Time page, February is also the time when you can observe some of the planets closest to Earth in the sky quite clearly. For example, tonight 4/2, Venus can observe "very well", Mars at "average good" , Jupiter at "near good" , while Mercury is rated as "difficult to observe". ".

"Mars eclipse" is a fairly symbolic term for the Moon's state to "eat" something close to the actual eclipse (The Moon obscures the sun). To be able to observe the actual eclipse, you need to wait until June 21 this year . Fortunately, the sky has favored Asia, Southeast Europe, Africa and northern Oceania to observe this amazing phenomenon.

From Vietnam, we will see a partial eclipse , the Moon "eat" part of the sun, turning the sun into a crescent-shaped glare.
