Vietnam did not observe the first solar eclipse of the year
Vietnam will not observe the astounding astronomical phenomenon that the coronary solar eclipse takes place in the morning of May 10.
If the viewer sees the moon cover the sun completely in the total solar eclipse, then the moon only covers part of the sun in the solar eclipse.

According to Mr. Nguyen Duc Phuong, Vietnam Astronomical Society, the coronary solar eclipse will take place around 3 am on May 10, Hanoi time. The moon will obscure about 95% of the sun, the rest of the planet is not obscured (because the solar disk is bigger than the moon) will have light, so it looks like a ring.
"Unfortunately, Vietnam is not in the area of observing this phenomenon," Mr. Phuong said.
According to Mr. Phuong, only some parts of Australia, some Pacific island nations can observe the phenomenon. In Southeast Asia, the Philippines and Indonesia can also see a part.
A solar eclipse occurs when the moon passes between the earth and the sun. The coronary solar eclipse occurs every year when the earth is at the closest position to the sun and the moon in the farthest position from the globe. So the moon is not large enough to obscure the entire sun and the two dark half regions created by the moon will expand more than when the total solar eclipse, while overlapping each other, forms an area called the shadow zone. fake. Residents of the regions of the earth that are simulated by this shadow zone will observe the annular solar eclipse, and in the midnight region a partial eclipse will be observed.
Experts warn, unlike eclipses, when observing eclipses, viewers must wear eye protection devices.
The next solar eclipse will take place in early November and only people living in Africa, southern Europe and northern Atlantic Ocean will observe.
