This move made England suspicious of hiding information about UFOs

The British government is using EU EU laws to block access to UFO sightings (unidentified flying objects).

Previously, public access to records (kept by the state) was a detailed report of the strange images seen in the sky. However, this access has been revoked.

The agency responsible for maintaining this situation led to EU legislation to prevent public requests.

According to The Sun, the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) receives numerous reports of unexplained engagements in the UK each year. Previously, the responsibility of collecting this information belonged to the MOD's UFO department, but since its closure in 2009, the responsibility has been transferred to CAA.

As a government agency, records collected by CAA must comply with the Freedom of Information Act - FOI Act. These transparency laws can be used by any member of the community who wants to view information files held by state agencies.

However, CAA announced to refuse to disclose any information about UFO sightings, collectively referred to as "occurrence" , according to citing European laws since 2014.

"Events" in this case may involve anything from meteorite exploration, unmanned aircraft, foreign aircraft invading the airspace or any unusual event given in. UFO catalog - unidentified flying object.

EU legislation is designed to protect pilots and other aviation personnel - it is those who report unexplained aerial phenomena.

This law states: "Information about 'events' can only be used for the purpose of maintaining or improving aviation safety and the release of information about these events to the public or the media. information, including feedback on the Freedom of Information Act (FOI) requirement, is not valid, however, if you request information about the purpose for the purpose of maintaining or improving aviation safety, you can apply to CAA ".

Nigel Watson, author of the UFO Survey Guide , told MailOnline that this move makes many people think that the government is constantly hiding UFOs and related evidence.

Dr. David Clarke, studying at Sheffield Hallam University Press Department, previously accessed CAA files using the FOI request. But he was rejected when doing this again earlier this year.

Dr. Clarke told The Sun: " The only reason for understanding this policy change is the confusion of the aviation industry. They do not want to admit that pilots sometimes report very good things. Difficult to explain appears in the sky.

In order to improve public confidence in air safety, authorities should proactively promote access to these types of records. '
