A 3-storey house in Agra, northern India collapsed after the mice dug the foundation for years.
Heavy rain on the night of April 14 caused the lower part of the house in Kacheri Ghat to fill with water. Sudhir Kumar Ver, the landlord and 8 other family members were quickly evacuated because they feared the house was no longer safe.
The foundation is completely opaque.
"The foundation is completely opaque , " Ravi Mathur, a local official, told The Times of Indian. According to Mr. Ravi, the landlord has tried to kill mice but failed. "Most of the debris falls into the vacant land rather than falling into another house," Mr. Ravi said.

Agra Mayor Naveen Jain pledged to meet local officials to find a way to deal with the rat epidemic.
