Timelapse videos of blooming flowers are made from more than 39,000 photos

A Slovak photographer due to being isolated from his home for too long had enough time for him to create a nearly 4-minute video of the flowering process of different flowers.

Of these 39,000 photos, he selected 27,282 to make the movie.

For more than a year, he has taken more than 39,000 photographs recording 1,276 hours of blooming flowers. Of these 39,000 photos, he selected 27,282 to make the movie.

He said: "It took more than 424 hours for purple orchids to bloom. Pheasant's-eye is the fastest blooming flower, it blooms in an hour and a half; however I still need to take up to 996 photos."

The post-production stage is mostly to remove the small insects that crawl on the flower when it blooms.
