To live to 200 years old, billionaire Bryan Johnson is testing a new method of longevity.
Johnson calls his goal of living to 200 'the most important revolution in the history of Homo sapiens'.
What would you do if you had 800 million USD, equivalent to 20,000 billion VND at the age of 36?
Everyone has their own answer, but for Bryan Johnson , who sold his startup Braintree to PayPal in 2013 for the money, he sets aside $2 million a year to "buy back his youth" - in the literal sense of the phrase.

It should be emphasized that 50 billion per year, equivalent to 137 million per day, is the amount of money Johnson spends to personally test a series of drugs, chemicals and rejuvenation methods on his own body.
Some of Johnson's experiments have even reached "crazy" levels, including taking plasma from his 18-year-old son and transfusing it into his own body in an attempt to rejuvenate his blood.
The billionaire who loves life and fears death the most in the world
Over the past five years, Johnson has hired 30 personal physicians to his home, whose sole job is to work together to advise his boss on what to eat, drink and do that day, in order to beat the aging that occurs every 24 hours.
As a result, during that time, Johnson followed an extremely strict diet and lifestyle. He ate very few calories, fasted intermittently, but in return, Johnson would take up to 111 types of supplements, and that number is not an exaggeration.
Bryan Johnson takes up to 111 supplements a day.
In addition to the supplements that normal people often take such as zinc, vitamin B, vitamin D, Johnson also takes ginger essence, garlic and Indian ginseng ashwagandha, a medicine that is said to reduce cortisol caused by stress, improve sleep and increase testosterone in men.
The billionaire uses lycopene to strengthen blood vessels, merformin to fight intestinal polyps, and a mixture of turmeric powder, black pepper, and ginger root to lower liver enzymes. There is also chlorella powder, spermidine, synthetic amino acids, creatine, collagen peptides, cocoa flavanols, and Ceylon cinnamon…
The chemicals he uses on his body include Minoxidil to prevent hair loss, Nicotinamide to rejuvenate his skin, and Blueprint, a proprietary sexual enhancement supplement that Johnson paid for with scientists to research.
The experiments went to extremes when Johnson even drank lithium, the stuff found in your phone batteries, in the hope that a low dose of this neurotoxin would stimulate the brain to become clear and healthy.
Last year, Johnson experimented by taking his son's blood and transfusing it into his own body.
In an experiment last year, Johnson convinced his 17-year-old son to donate plasma to him, at a rate of liters every month, in the hope of rejuvenating his blood and reversing the signs of aging in all his body's cells.
Johnson then donated his own blood to his father, who is now in his 70s, in the hope of rejuvenating him. However, the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) said that blood transfusion therapies like Johnson's have no scientific basis and are ineffective.
Continuing to test new rejuvenation methods
Admitting that plasma transfusions are ineffective, in a recent photo posted on Instagram, Johnson said he is experimenting with a new rejuvenation method, called "fat cell-derived extracellular matrix injections."
This procedure involves liposuction to separate the reticular extracellular matrix that connects the spaces between cells, and injecting it directly under the epidermis to retain the skin's plumpness.
Johnson applied it to his own face, which left him with a swollen face in photos. " It was a severe allergic reaction ," the billionaire admitted. "It got worse and worse and worse until I couldn't even see."
Johnson's face swelled up in response to extracellular matrix injection therapy.
Johnson's allergy stemmed from the fact that the extracellular matrix he took came from donor fat, not his own fat cells . " You can use your own fat cells for this, but the problem is that I don't have enough fat on my body to extract. So I had to use someone else's fat ," Johnson said.
He had to do this reluctantly, the billionaire said he had to re-inject extracellular matrix into his face to make him look less gaunt. It was the result of following the nutritional and rejuvenation regimens prescribed by his personal doctors.
"My daily calorie intake went from 2,500 to 1,950. As a result, I got really skinny and lost a lot of fat, especially in my face. My biomarkers improved, but I looked skinny. People thought I looked like I was about to die ," Johnson admitted on his Instagram.
Johnson's body has not an ounce of excess fat.
It doesn't matter if your indicators show you're young on the inside, but your appearance looks like you're about to die.
Johnson has always been known to keep a close eye on his body measurements. Every morning, after waking up, he immediately hops on an electric scale to measure his weight, body mass index, hydration level, and body fat index.
Johnson's body temperature, heart rate, blood sugar, and blood oxygen levels were also recorded. All of these metrics allowed doctors to compare them again 60 minutes later, when Johnson had completed all 25 exercises.
Johnson would then shower, clean himself up, and begin pouring chemicals all over his body. He was said to have applied up to seven different types of sunscreen and body lotions, reaching every nook and cranny of his body, including a special antioxidant cream specifically for his gums.
Every week, Johnson undergoes acid peels, laser therapy, and pelvic floor electrical stimulation. Every month, he undergoes a complete physical examination, which includes dozens of tests, including blood chemistry, ultrasounds, and MRIs, as well as colonoscopies, stool and urine tests.
Johnson is said to apply up to seven types of sunscreen and body lotions, reaching every corner of his body, including a special antioxidant cream specifically for his gums.
Johnson said recent tests showed his heart had the parameters of a 37-year-old, the skin of a 28-year-old, and the lung capacity of an 18-year-old. In particular, Johnson's physiological ability, related to the speed of penile erection, can be compared to that of a teenager.
But in exchange for all those metrics, Johnson lost all his body fat, including his facial fat . " We [Johnson and his team of 30 doctors] recently discovered that facial fat is pretty important to how people perceive youth. It doesn't matter how good my biomarkers are if I don't have facial fat."
So Johnson and his doctors launched a new project called the "Baby Face Project" to restore facial fat. Unfortunately, the project has so far failed. After seven days of severe allergic reactions, Johnson said his face was back to "normal." But "normal " in this case, it still looked thin and gaunt.
'We will continue to have to rebuild our plans for the next test,' Johnson wrote.
Bryan Johnson is known to take great care with his appearance.
Obsessed with youth and immortality
Billionaire Bryan Johnson was born on August 22, 1977, in Utah, the middle child of three brothers and one sister. After his parents divorced, Johnson lived with his mother and stepfather, who owned a trucking company.
As a college student, Johnson showed an entrepreneurial spirit. He paid for his own tuition by selling cell phones and service packages to fellow students.
In the early 2000s, Johnson used the money he earned from selling phones to invest in a company called Inquist, which provided internet calling services. His experience at Inquist later helped Johnson see that the internet was not only a way for people to make free calls, but also the future of financial services.
In 2007, Johnson founded Braintree, one of the world's first online payment services. With the green market it created, Braintree quickly entered the top 50 of Inc.'s 500 fastest-growing companies.

In 2013, PayPal, then part of eBay, knew that if it wanted to grow fast and strong, it would have to buy Braintree . Johnson agreed to sell Braintree in a record deal worth $800 million, equivalent to more than VND 20,000 billion.
In interviews, Johnson shared that although he was financially successful, that success came at the expense of his health and youth. Johnson suffered from severe depression from 2004 until after he sold his company.
The breakdown of his marriage later led Johnson to contemplate suicide. Only after overcoming the difficult period did Johnson begin to realize his life. He became obsessed with the idea of rejuvenating himself and pursuing immortality.
The Austere Single Life… Until 200
As mentioned, Johnson spends millions of dollars every year to realize his idea of rejuvenation. Besides, this requires him to live a very disciplined life.
Johnson went to bed before 9 p.m. and woke up before 5 a.m. A Time reporter entered Johnson's bedroom and described it as looking like a secret chamber with "nothing: no pictures, no books, no television, no water glass, no phone charger, no clothes, no towels, no mirror, nothing."
Johnson's bedroom has nothing but a bed and his skin care equipment.
Johnson said that the bedroom is just a place to sleep, he does not read or do anything in there. The only two things in the bedroom are a special bed that emits lasers to stimulate collagen to rejuvenate the skin and a device worn on the penis to monitor erections while sleeping.
" On average, I have two hours and 12 minutes of erection every night to some degree. The norm for an 18-year-old is three hours and 30 minutes ," Johnson said. Still, he sees it as a measure of health, not that promiscuity, which Johnson calls "a scoundrel of the mind ," will affect his longevity.
That is also the reason why Johnson chose to stay single.
"If I date someone and tell them my habits and lifestyle, they won't want to date me anymore, " he said, listing " 10 reasons women will hate me " including: eating dinner at 11:30 a.m., going to bed at 8:30 p.m., no small talk, no long trips or vacations, and especially no sleeping together.
" Waking up suddenly in the middle of the night would greatly affect the rejuvenation process that I was pursuing, because once I woke up, it would be very difficult to fall back asleep. So sleeping with a lover was a huge obstacle ," Johnson said.
"Women are not my number one priority in life anyway ," Johnson added. In previous interviews, the billionaire said his number one priority in life right now is to rejuvenate his body and live until at least 2177, which would be his 200th birthday.
