On August 7, Mr. Hoang Quoc Phuong, Chairman of Hanoi Amateur Astronomical Association, said the weather in Hanoi today is sunny and dry. Therefore, on tonight (August 7), Vietnamese astronomers will have the opportunity to admire the partial eclipse (also known as the 'moon of blood').

The 'blood moon' phenomenon will start from 22:00 tonight and and last until 8/8 am . 'However, the time of observing' moonlight 'is especially clear at 1am 8/8 . At this point, a part of the moon will turn crimson, ' Phuong said.

Mr. Phuong said that due to the partial eclipse of the eclipse, the association would not organize observations in a specific area in Hanoi. The members of the association agreed to observe the phenomenon at home.

Previously, on the evening of April 3, 2015, in Hanoi, many people saw the big moon in orange-red, similar to the total eclipse. In 2016, the phenomenon of total eclipse does not appear in the sky of Hanoi.
