Fox Brown News quoted Craig Brown as saying: ' Phantom Ray looks like a taxi flying in the air. With this successful test, we were able to see the future of the unmanned aerial vehicle generation very close . '

Phantom Ray took off the test flight at 9:05 am (local time) on April 27th. After takeoff, the model with wingspan of 15m long and 11m long body was controlled flying at an altitude of 2,286m above the ground.

' Test results are great. I participated in the development of this model from the beginning, so my feelings are hard to describe when I first saw the Phantom Ray flying in the air , 'Teri Finchamp, head of the aircraft development team. Phantom Ray, confirmed.

Boeing officially announced the development of the Phantom Ray stealth drone bomber 1 year ago. The model was developed from the previous unmanned aircraft model, named X-45 A and C.
