Russia successfully built super drones that can carry 50kg of flying goods for 8 hours continuously

Russian researchers have designed a new car that can carry 50 - 250kg of cargo and fly in 8 hours.

The multi-propeller aircraft, named SKYF , is ordered by logistics and agribusiness companies to transport goods to help businesses carry out their duties.

Vertical take-off and landing aircraft, used to spray pesticides and aerial fertilizers, plant seedlings to restore forests and provide food - food and health in emergency situations.

The aircraft is designed by ARDN Technology Company, has a maximum flight speed of 70 km / h and has dimensions of 5.2m x 2.2m.

It can fly up to 3,000m and position accuracy is 30.6cm.

SKYF aircraft are used for many purposes, including:

  1. Spraying pesticides and fertilizing.
  2. Rainfall Management: Helps reduce snow accumulation, preventing and extinguishing fire
  3. Forestry: Sow seeds in biodegradable capsules to recover damaged forests or forest fires.
  4. Logistics in the oil and gas industry: Supplying food, spare parts and measuring equipment for oil rigs or oil drilling stations far from the mainland.
  5. Postal logistics services: Distributing heavy goods to hard-to-reach residential areas.
  6. Maritime logistics services: Delivery to ships or cargo cranes.
  7. Making lines and making roads (geodetic work): Remote sensing for the construction of power lines, roads and pipelines.
  8. Tool control: Instrument control for inaccessible infrastructure, such as wind power plants.
  9. Emergency situation: Provide food, rescue equipment and medicine to disaster areas or at sea.

According to the ARDN company, although the aircraft size is quite large, it can fold and fit 2 containers of 6m long. Before flying, need 10 minutes to install the aircraft.

Currently, aircraft prototypes are receiving coding instructions from an air transport service center.

SKYF aircraft uses gasoline engines to lift and electric motors to stabilize the long distance transport of 350 km (when transporting 50kg).

SKYF aircraft uses 2 engines.

Specifically, SKYF unmanned aircraft use gasoline engines for 2 main lift units and use electric motors for the 4 dual propellers to help stabilize and navigate.

According to ARDN, the separation of the two features is an advantage that allows unmanned aircraft to carry heavy cargo.

This patented unmanned aircraft can also fly and move at low speeds, making it ideal for carrying out packaging delivery tasks.

The aircraft can operate in any weather condition.

The design of the aircraft also has modules, which means that the aircraft versions can be modified to increase fuel levels and other features.

SKYF aircraft is exhibited in Russia.

SKYF aircraft can directly use energy from internal combustion engines without parallel power systems, increase flexibility and reduce costs, maintenance costs and overall weight.
