Dmitry Tkachev, organizer of the exhibition, said the turtle had two heads, six legs and two hearts due to gene mutations. It was born in the home of an animal breeder. In the wild, such turtles cannot survive.

'The two heads of the turtle cannot see each other. Each head has its own personality, so they usually don't crawl in the same direction , 'Tkachev said.

Sergei Ryabov, director of a reptile research center in Ukraine, said that every turtle likes their own dishes.

'One head eats everything, but likes green leaves. The other end doesn't eat leaves but only likes things that are red or some prominent color, such as peppers or carrots , ' Ryabov said.

The public can admire the two-headed turtle in the Museum of Natural History in Kiev City until April 20.
