Twin towers change color in China
Hangzhou City, China is planning to build a twin tower that can change color based on the location of the observer.
According to Business Insider, the company Vision Architecture Laboratory (LAVA) designed Zhejiang Gate Towers, the twin skyscraper is expected to be built in Hangzhou, China with environmental-friendly orientation.
Two Zhejiang Gate towers with a height of 280 m with a total area of 370,000 m2, including all 90 floors.Construction will be started in 2017.
One of the two towers has a large garden on the roof.
The towers are equipped with colorful glass panels, refracting light in different ways.The tower will be in the same color depending on the location of the observer.
Glass panels are also important to help the two towers become environmentally friendly by reducing glare and absorbing sunlight.
The towers consist of eight "super pillars", which reduces 30% of concrete compared to conventional structures.
The construction of the twin towers is expected to be completed in 2019.
