Russian experts have developed a material that can be successfully used in all eye surgeries.

The new material "TOFEKS" is intended for eye surgery, and it is versatile, unlike previous materials. "TOFEKS" reminiscent of special membrane, in which drug. Materials that can heal wounds, strengthen the retina, heal damage, orthotics. And best of all, the feature does not cause any discomfort to the sensitive tissues of the eye. Two other foundations of the invention are the Moscow Eye Research Institute, Gelmholtz and the National Academy of Medicine in the central Russian city of Tver. "TOFEKS" was piloted at the synthetic fiber factory.

New materials have been commercially available for use in a number of ophthalmic clinics throughout Russia.
