Unique photo frame made from placenta
Amanda Cotton, 25, from London, has created extremely unique frames from the placenta to help parents keep their child's image.

To get a photo frame, Amanda had to boil the placenta, dry it, crush it and then put it into a plastic mold.
The idea of making a photo frame from the placenta may seem bizarre, but Amanda said: 'I have received many positive feedback from future parents, and I have had more customers.'
'Usually, people keep their umbilical cord, teeth or hair together with their photos to make memories. But the placenta is one of the first parts attached between mother and fetus. So why not use the placenta as a souvenir for your baby? ' , Ms. Amanda added.

Ms. Ulrika Jarl, one of the customers who will give birth to her second daughter on Christmas, said she will keep the placenta carefully in a cold box to send Amanda into a picture frame.
The customer said she could understand why people were amazed but she was attracted to the materials people thought were waste. She found that the placenta has many uses: the placenta's medicine helps provide more energy and more milk, or the placenta can be used to train professional dogs to search for human remains. However, most people don't know and leave them.
Currently, Ms. Amanda is working for a design company in London, who said she will expand the range of products after receiving support from parents.
