Panasonic launches a robot frame that can support people

According to a reporter in Japan, Active Link Technology Company of Panasonic Electronics Group officially announced the robot frame models to support human activities.

At the launching ceremony on June 2, Panasonic has launched three main robot frame devices currently developed by Active Link, including walking robot legs version PLL-04 (Power Loader light) Ninja , supporting robot arms Agricultural farmers supported by Active Link developed with Kubota Group and supporting robot frame carrying heavy weight PLL-01E.

The main purpose of Active Link is to support human activities, especially to create high performance in labor, opening up employment opportunities for many people regardless of gender, health and age. This is especially meaningful in the context of Japanese society being aging population and serious labor shortage.

Active Link was established in June 2003 with an investment of up to 224 million yen, of which 79.6% of shares were held while Mitsui co-owned 19.6%.

Active Link Chairman Hiromichi Fujimoto said: ' Our aim is to bring to the world devices that help increase muscle strength for humans. We discover new boundaries in many different areas such as practical applications of health and research. "

According to Fujimoto, Active Link is in-depth study of the intense robot skeleton frame.

With a weight of 15kg, PLL-04 Ninja effectively supports the travel of users with a walking speed of about 12km / hour.

The motor of PLL-04 Ninja creates a support force to help users move more easily in two basic ways: 'active walking support control' and 'passive walking control'.

Users' feet can move naturally forward when walking thanks to a hybrid walking aid device. The hybrid walking device is considered to be the first device in the world according to its April 2014 investigation.

Ninja's design is quite simple, it has extraordinary power but consumes less energy. However, Active Link is still trying to reduce the weight of the robot frame to less than 15kg and create a more compact design for Ninja, including battery pack and upper body.

The ARM-1 robot arm is another highlight of the premiere. ARM-1 is a product that satisfies orders from Kubota Mechanical Group with the aim of supporting farmers to harvest fruits and improve labor productivity.

With a compact and fairly light design, the ARM-1 creates a foothold for the forearms and elbows, which is said to be the easiest part to maintain and maintain for long periods of time, for example namely, the harvesting of apples and tangerines.

The most impressive device is the PLL-01E (Power Loader light) heavy lifting support framework that is used in the field of factories, distribution lines and agriculture. PLL-01E supports users to easily lift objects weighing between 30-100kg.

The device weighs about 30kg and has a maximum travel speed of 4km / hour. The PLL-01E can also help users to climb up and down stairs easily thanks to the leg support frame.

Active Link said the device is still being developed and improved in the direction of compactness and improved operational efficiency for users.

With optimal power efficiency and practical research, the support robot chassis is likely to be one of the devices of the future that Panasonic focuses on research and development.

This promises to open up a new horizon of potential for Japan's labor market in the near future, where workers will be treated equally and promote work performance in a way maximum regardless of age, gender and health conditions.
