Unique toilet space saves space
The unique design of the two American students will make your bathroom space neater, small and beautiful.
Two Gareth Humphreys students and Elliott Whiteley of the University of Huddersfield designed the Iota toilet which occupied only one-third of the space of a standard toilet when it was vertical.
The Iota toilet will be the perfect choice for small homes.
The toilet is designed with a U-shaped curve at the same time as two things: Keep the waste at the seal and put the waste in the waste pipe when the tub is in vertical position.
In addition, the toilet is designed with a support frame with slide hinge mechanism and a plastic roller. The hinge mechanism will keep the toilet in a straight position, while the custom rollers frame the weight of the user.
Not only that, the two inventors also said that Iota toilet uses only 2.5 liters of water instead of using 6 liters of water as the standard toilet.
Their Iota design has been awarded the design award for students in the revitalization of the toilet product of the Royal Society of Arts (RSA).
This contest requires students to change toilets to make it more environmentally friendly.
Humphreys and Whiteley believe that this design will fit in with the current construction trend when saving space is a major concern.
