US Congressman wants to set up a park on the moon
The US House of Representatives has just received a bill about turning Apollo's landing positions on the moon into a national historic park.
The Apollo Lunar Landing Legacy Act , the name of the bill, was drafted by Democrat Donna Edwards and sponsored by Senator Eddie Bernice Johnson. Edwards sent the bill to the US Commission on Science, Space and Technology and the Resources Committee on July 8, ABC reported.

Edwards emphasized that the Apollo moon exploration program is one of the greatest achievements in American history.
"In the context of businesses and foreign countries who have reached the possibility of landing on the moon, it is necessary to protect Apollo landing sites for posterity," Edwards wrote in the bill.
The senator wanted the US government to enforce the bill within a year since parliament approved it.
"The establishment of such a historic park will strengthen and strengthen the protection and preservation of Apollo landing points on the moon. It also helps the public better understand a great achievement in the calendar. American history " , the bill emphasized.
The bill defines Apollo's landing points: "all the positions astronauts and Apollo-related devices are exposed to the surface of the moon from 1969 to 1972".
