Use the hand to catch the bullet

During the period of imperial war, a French pilot encountered a strange case. While flying at a height of 2 km, he noticed that a small object was moving in front of him. Thinking that some insect, he reached out to grab it, and was shocked to see that it was . a German bullet!

Catch the bullet with your bare hands

Listen, you can think of it as a myth and unbelievable, but that is entirely possible.

The bullet decreased in speed, so, at the end of the flight path, its speed was only about 40m / s (Photo: purdue)

Originally because a bullet was not always moving at its initial speed of 800-900m / sec.The air resistance causes it to slow down and until it is fully operational (ie at the end of the path), it only flies 40 m / sec. The plane also flew at that speed.

So it is possible that bullets and planes are moving in the same direction and have the same speed . Then for the pilot, the bullet is just standing still or moving a little. At that time, it was difficult to burn the bullet without grasping the bullet by hand, especially the hand was wearing gloves (because the bullet moved in the air was much heated).
