Experts collaborate with Discovery Channel to broadcast live the opening process containing the 2,500-year mummy of an Egyptian senior priest on April 7 .

The mummy was discovered along with the "mysterious wax head" , supposedly modeled after this monk's exact pattern. The wax head is so sophisticated that if alive, "can easily recognize him on the street," Discovery channel said.
This is the first time Egypt has broadcast live the opening of ancient mummies. The excavation site is the Al-Ghorifa area, about 250km south of Cairo.
The mummy contains mummies located in a building consisting of many rooms, tunnels and tombs that remain intact after thousands of years, discovered in the 1920s, according to Newsweek.
