Video: Imitation of Earth's satellite is confirmed not cosmic garbage
Astronomers claim that an asteroid discovered last summer is not a piece of trash floating in the universe.
Imitation satellite 2016 HO3.
Dubbed by NASA as the "regular new companion" of the Earth last summer, 2016 HO3 is an asteroid orbiting the Sun orbiting the Earth.
NASA speculation, 2016 HO3 is 37-91 meters in size. Some researchers believe that this is actually a piece of cosmic trash from old missiles and satellites, but the new study confirms it is an asteroid. This is a satellite of Earth, turning closer to the Sun than Earth 6 months and farther away from the Sun during the rest of the year.
It is different from natural satellites like the Moon with orbits only associated with a planet or star.
