Video: Learn about the snail species
The Hermit Crab - the common name in Vietnam is the lizard - is a shrimp with a soft, vulnerable body and often lives on the shells of dead snails or any hollow object that they can find and fit in.
In the video that is back at St. John in the Virgin Islands, photographer Steve Simonsen has captured the image of such a large gathering. The sight of millions of Hermit Crabs gathered on a beach like this is actually quite interesting, but something scary.
