A Komodo dragon (scientific name: V aranus komodoensis ) attacked a monkey, although it climbed to a high cliff, the monkey still could not escape the pursuit of the top predator in Rinca Island, Indonesia, the Komodo dragon.

The dragon dragged the monkey to the ground and pinned it down with its sharp teeth, and soon other dragons rushed in to fight over this meal. The monkey was quickly torn to pieces by the dragons.

Rinca Island is one of the islands where Komodo dragons live. There are also many other wild animals on the island such as wild boars, buffalo, monkeys and many species of birds.
