Video: Picturesque Horse Head Nebula

The Hubble Space Telescope has captured the beautiful image of a vein, celebrating the 23rd birthday of this particular glass.

Hubble was taken by space shuttle Discovery Discovery to orbit on April 24, 1990. Since then, it has become an important space research tool of the US Aeronautics and Space Agency (NASA). Hubble is the result of a collaboration between NASA and the European Space Agency.

The latest image Hubble captures is the Horsehead Nebula, one of the most recognizable nebulae in the sky. The nebula is also known as Barnard 33 , about 1,500 light from Earth.

According to Wikipedia, bright red originated primarily from the hydrogen gas behind the nebula, ionized by a bright star named nearby Sigma Orionis.

The Horse Head's dark color is due to the thick layer of dust, although the lower part of the Horse Head neck forms a shadow on the left. The gas flow from the nebula is funnel-shaped due to the strong magnetic field. The bright spots in the Horsehead nebula are young stars in the process of forming.
