Video: The hawk swooped down to hunt snake, unexpectedly squeezed hard

A hawk was discovered in a motionless state, his whole body stiffened after swooping down to hunt a Bull snake over a meter long.

According to the Daily Star, the snakes are smaller than the preferred prey of hawks, including poisonous snakes.

Whenever hunting snakes, hawks often use claws to hold the snake head firmly, the legs control the prey and slaughter directly on the snake's head to neutralize the prey.

However, things do not always happen as expected. If the snake is out of control, the hawk will face a response, even losing its life if it is a poisonous snake.

The video was returned by Scott Adams and his friend in Arizona, USA, showing a hawk lying stiffly on the road, his mouth wide open in horror.

Moving closer, Adams realized what made hawks stand on the brink between life and death was a bull snake about 1.2 meters long. This snake is non-toxic, the longest is only about 2.5 meters long and weighs 4.5kg.

They eat smaller creatures, including birds by squeezing prey to death. But the big hawk probably did not expect to become a victim of the snake bull.

Rather than agreeing to nature, Adams took steps to remove the snake, setting the hawks stiffly on the sidewalk.

Just a moment later, the kite regained consciousness, began breathing in the air and flew away safely without promptly thanking the benefactor.

The snake also slowly crawled away, looking like it was regretful to lose its fat prey.
