Video: The lungs are dark after smoking 20 cigarettes

After inhaling the smoke of a pack of cigarettes, the color of the lungs almost completely changed with the black high layer covering the windpipe.

According to research shared on the website of the National Institutes of Health Medical Library website earlier this year, scientists at the University of Bristol, UK, said smoking a cigarette could make life long the average person decreased by 11 minutes.

They said the number may vary from person to person according to personal habits, but in general, smokers have a 6.5-year shorter lifespan than non-smokers, Inertia reported.

After the published study, the nonprofit MEDspiration organization in Chicago, USA, conducted a smoking experiment video on healthy lungs to reinforce the results.
