Video: The mountain of fat loosely over the blue whale sealed the London sewer
Sanitation workers discovered a 250m-long, fat-covered mountain weighing 130 tons, securing a sewer in Whitechapel, London, England.
Figure simulating fat mountains under underground sewers.
The lumpy mountain is a giant block of fat, grease, diapers, sanitary pads and many other ingredients that solidify after being flushed down to the toilet or sink.
This lumpy mountain weighs 10.5 buses or a blue whale. Its length is 6m larger than London Tower Bridge (244m).
8 workers will use high-pressure nozzles to break down the fat, then suck the broken pieces into the truck and transfer the waste to the recycling station.
