Vietnamese heart doctor successful heart transplant
On March 2, Prof. Dr. Dr. Bui Duc Phu, Director of Hue Central Hospital, said Vietnamese doctors have successfully performed the first heart transplant for a male patient with heart failure.
Patient named Tran Mau Duc, 26 years old, in Phu Hoi ward, Hue city. Patients with cardiomyopathy 4 were treated for nearly 1 year in this hospital. If the patient does not receive a heart transplant in time, the risk of death is very high.
After having a heart donation, a brain-dead 30-year-old was taken by heart surgeons and preserved to prepare a transplant for Mr. Tran Mau Duc. However, personal information about the donor is not disclosed by the doctor at the request of the family.

Heart transplants are performed by a team of Vietnamese medical doctors who last for 5 hours without an international expert.
Currently, according to doctors treating him, the parameters of heart and blood are stable, health is good. The surgery is highly appreciated by medical professionals.
