Telegraph reported, the two astronauts Oleg Kotov and Sergei Ryazansky holding the Olympic torch version did not burn and walked parade outside the ISS International Space Station.
The torch was taken out of the ISS base by two astronauts at 2 am (GMT). Later, the two astronauts walked in space and waved the torch high from a height of 420km.
To keep the torch safe during the first march in the universe, the two astronauts carefully used the torch-fixing wires. The symbolic torch of the 2014 Winter Olympics has been in space for 6 hours.
The Olympic torch was put into space twice in 1996 and 2000, but this was the first time it was taken out of the spacecraft.
The Soyuz TMA-11 spacecraft carrying an Olympic torch was launched from Baikonur, Kazakhstan space airport, on November 7.
