Weapons of special forces

The emergence of water espionage is really a threat to the naval bases, becoming the driving force behind the development of the 'imitation of counterfeit' weapons.

In the former Soviet Union, the protection clone team was formed against the raiders. Initially, the clone was only equipped with daggers and assorted AK rifles.

The APS rifle is derived from the AK-47. The Soviet Union (old) began researching and manufacturing from the early 70s of the last century and in 1975 equipped the naval task force. At the furthest range under the water surface, APS bullets can still penetrate the cold-resistant fabric of moving targets or 5mm thick acrylic plastic diving caps. Guns can shoot in any position while swimming, as well as when hovering. This weapon is also used for self-defense when going up.

To test the mechanism of the underwater rifle, a reservoir of water with a variable water level could be built to study the mechanism of movement of guns and medicinal gases produced when the drug burns in the chamber.

One of the key enhancements in the APS is a drug ventilator with a special shield that breaks down the amount of bubbles released by the gas, increasing the ability to observe the gunner's target when underwater, limit the impact of water.

While the perfect weapon for Soviet waterfighter campaigns, APS is rarely used by the task force in sea-ministry multitasking. In addition, the life of a gun when fired on land is only 1/10 of that of underwater shooting. Therefore, most of the special forces only carried AK-74 rifles to fight on land and pistols SPP-1 to defend themselves underwater.

SPP-1 pistols were developed from the late 60s of the last century. After improvement, SPP-1 became SPP-1M and is still used in the Russian army's special forces until now.

SPP-1M is a personal weapon of a clone, cannot be shot in inter-band mode, only shot in single-player mode. To work well under water, guns use a special type of SPS ammunition: unusually long warheads, made from low-carbon steel to stabilize underwater motion. Under water, damage range depends on the depth. At a depth of 5m, the damage range is 17m, while at a depth of 20m, this distance is only 11m.
