What helped Albert Einstein become a genius?
When Albert Einstein was three years old, he did not speak, his parents decided to implement special education, helped him to calculate and do science at the age of 12.
For years, researchers have been trying to find answers about how parents can and how to raise their children into geniuses. In 1999, a study in the journal Lancet analyzed 14 images of Einstein's brain, showing an empty brain region, allowing the apical lobe, which is responsible for language processing, to take up more space. . Scientists point out that this part is larger than most other lobes.
The journalist Tatsha Robertson and Harvard University economist Ronald Ferguson have studied how the parents of successful children raise their children and contribute to the process of becoming a genius.
Recipe for successful parenting
Over the course of 15 years, Robertson and Ferguson surveyed 200 successful people and their parents. The two scientists also studied the childhoods of celebrities from Anne, Susan, Janet Wojcicki, who were dubbed the "Sisters of Silicon Valley" until Albert Einstein.
In the study, a clear model showed that the parents of successful people apply similar ways of educating their children, though different families in terms of living conditions, nationality, economic potential.
Robertson and Ferguson called that model the "Formula", which included eight parental roles in educating children: Classmates, engineers, rehabilitation, sharers, philosophers, models, people negotiators and people-oriented.
"Eintstein's parents, Lauline and Hermann, are all good at eight roles but they are especially good at being negotiators and sharers ," Robertson said.

Negotiator
Parents have this role to encourage children's independence, but also intervene when necessary. Once you have negotiated and finished the agreement between the parents and children, you will not be able to give up. Einstein's mother, Pauline, is very strict with this rule.
In 1884, then 5-year-old Einstein was enraged at the piano teacher. Instead of yelling at and not giving Einstein a piano lesson, Pauline decided to hire another teacher.
Pauline soon found out that boys often struggled to concentrate. As a successful pianist, she understands that instrumental learning is beneficial in discipline development and helps children focus. The new piano teacher helped Einstein improve this ability.
Einstein himself acknowledged, many of the foundations of the great theories he discovered while playing the violin. We would not have had the theory of relativity had Pauline not persevered in letting Einstein learn the piano.
Sharers
Parents with the role of sharer will introduce new ideas and skills to their children, where they can go and who they can become. They encourage children to persevere in finding solutions to problems in a disciplined and independent manner.
Although Einstein hated school, his parents at the time understood the reason because he did not go to school much, not hate it. Their solution is to create a learning environment that stimulates Einstein's imagination at home. They give Einstein books and toys of interest to avoid boredom.
When Einstein grew up, his curiosity was boosted when his parents allowed him to talk and have dinner with his scientist friends. They will ask Einstein questions and he will be rewarded for every correct answer.
The tutor for Einstein at 12 and 13 years old, he must try very hard to keep up the development of skills of little Einstein at that time.
Parenting is the art
Not always a child becomes a genius completely by birth. Parenting plays an important role in forming good habits and improving the quality of children.
Einstein's parents nurtured him to accept humility, accept defeat, and push to discover new things."I'm not too smart. I'm fortunate to be well-educated by my parents, given more time to solve problems , " Einstein once said.
