What to do when falling in a chaotic crowd?

As a part of today's young generation, we certainly have many times to attend events that require immersion in the crowd. However, the truth is that the crowd is not a safe place, especially when it is so crowded that it is crowded in a narrow space.

And the question is: if you accidentally fall in a crowd, what do you need to do to protect yourself?

Falling in a chaotic crowd is the last thing you want to encounter in life

The fact that crowding into a crowd was something no one wanted to do. And if falling at that time is really dangerous, can even cause death if unfortunately falls down.

There have been many cases of victims being pinched to the lungs, broken bones and died from falling in the chaotic crowd.

Examples include the accident at Hillsborough Stadium (England) in 1989. At that time, the stadium was crowded with people, then just one person fell was enough to carry a chain effect. After all, 96 people were killed in the disaster.

If so, to see that, if you have to stand in the middle of the crowd, then remembering (and having to do it) is not to fall. Put strength on your feet to stand, put your hands in front of your chest like a boxing player. This position will help you move, and protect the sensitive part of the chest.

But if you fall down, what should you do?

As mentioned above, the fall is the last thing you want to do in the crowd. So if you fall, by all means stand up, as quickly as possible. And below is what you should do in such a situation:

Falls is the last thing you want to do in the crowd.

  1. When preparing to fall, extend your hand and try to draw the attention of the next person. If they find you are about to fall, they will help.
  2. If you have fallen to the ground: put effort to scream really loudly to draw attention. Raise your hand high and hope someone recognizes it to pull it up.
  3. Where no one pulls, grab everything around to get up.
  4. If you still cannot get up and start at risk of being trampled: curl up into a "fetal position" - the posture is curled up, the chest to the thigh is the same as the fetus in the womb. This position is expected to minimize the maximum impact, impulse as well as injury to the chest, abdomen - where important internal organs are located.

In general, leaving yourself stuck in a crowd should never happen.

So when you feel that the space is too narrow, there are people squeezing into your body, you should find a way to escape before something bad happens.
