Why are Neanderthals soon extinct?
According to Dr. Paul Pettitt, Oxford University (UK) and colleagues, 20,000 - 30,000 years ago, Neanderthals and ancestors of modern people lived in continental Europe.
While our ' close ' ancestors have added to our menu list many different things besides meat such as fish, birds . and these ' improved ' items have helped them survive the real stuff. The familiar 'Neanderthals' menu, such as bison, red deer, reindeer or mammoth, has been exhausted.
Compared to Neanderthals, our ' near ' ancestors also know how to dry, salted fish for long use. In contrast, Neanderthals seek only large or medium animals, eat meat immediately, not knowing to save it while their living environment is becoming more severe.
