Why is there a planet?

The origin of gold as well as the cause of some planets in the universe is made of precious metals, which are many questions that many scientists have been interested in over the past time.

Accordingly, ancient interstellar clashes are considered the reason why gold, lead, tho-ri and many other heavy elements appear and exist so richly.

Only hydrogen, helium and lithium are present immediately after the impact. Other heavier things are created when smaller atoms bind to neutrons, some of which eventually decay into protons.

This process occurs quite slowly in large stars, but accounts for about half of the remaining heavy elements. The rapid acquisition of neutrons is necessary to create gold and lead, Hans Thomas Janka from Max Planck Institute of Astrophysics in Garching (Germany) shared.

The research team has built a simulation model and the results show that the merger between stars containing neutrons can be 'know-how' that appears many rare elements including gold.

The rest of the exploded stars contain many very heavy atomic particles with dense density. This is the perfect condition for fast neutrons to be pressed into the central part of an atom to form a heavy element. And when neutron stars collide during the merger, the material that forms this element is ejected.

According to the research model, linking neutron stars has produced heavy elements necessary for the existence of galaxies.

Next, the team simulates the merger between stars containing neutrons and black holes - one of the right conditions to quickly acquire neutrons.

The other problem is how heavy atoms are present in ancient stars from the early days of the Milky Way.'We need some other source to form a group of elements in older superstars , ' Janka added.
