SDViCo water purifier uses solar energy, is designed compact, flexible installation, does not affect the space of the rig.With an average capacity of 100 liters per hour (equivalent to two cubic meters per day), this water purifier helps soldiers proactively source fresh water to use.

"The advantage of this water purifier is simple installation, easy operation and maintenance of equipment," said lecturer Tran Thai Son, School of Mechanical Engineering.

According to Dr. Nguyen Thi Chim Lang, nearly a year ago, the school donated a machine worth VND100 million to the DK1 rig. Realizing the efficient use, Ba Ria - Vung Tau People's Committee decided to allocate funds to install 14 other machines to equip rigs.

According to Colonel Nguyen The Dinh, Politician of the DK1 Battalion (Command of Region 2 Navy), there are 15 rig houses in Ba Ria - Vung Tau to Ca Mau provinces .
