The fact that a group of girls in Denmark performed experiments to prove that phone waves that could harm plants have attracted the attention of the world scientific community.

Everything begins with the experience in real life. The 5 girls at Hjallerup Skole in Denmark realized that if they put their cell phones on the bed when they sleep, the ability to focus on the lecture always decreases the next morning. So the youth group came up with the idea of checking the impact of phone waves on people. But since there are not enough devices to test, the group decided to choose the study object as the tree, the Mother Nature Network site reported.

The students poured Lepidium sativum watercress seeds into 12 trays and placed 6 trays in a normal room. They then placed the remaining 6 trays right next to two Wi-Fi transmitters in another room. Two devices emit wave type like mobile phone waves.

After 12 days, the youth group observed, measured, weighed and took photos of all 12 trays. The results show that the particles in the trays near two transmitting devices do not germinate. Even many of them died. In contrast, the seeds in the other room germinate and grow normally.

The results of the study of 5 girls attracted the attention of many scientists around the world and helped them win the highest prize in a local science competition.

Kim Horsevad, a Hjallerup Skole teacher, said that a neurology professor at the Karolinska Institute in Sweden wanted to re-do the experiment of five girls in a more professional scientific environment to check the accuracy of it.
